DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE OF JUDGES OF COMMON COURTS OF GEORGIA
Members Of Disciplinary Committee
Disciplinary Committee is composed of 5 members, among which 3 are judges of Common Court of Georgia, while 2 are not judges.
The judicial members of Disciplinary Committee are elected by Conference of Judges of Georgia.
Those members of Disciplinary Committee, who are not judges, shall be elected by the Parliament of Georgia by majority of members on the current nominal list. Parliament of Georgia may elect as a member of Disciplinary Committee a citizen of Georgia, who has high legal education, no less than 10 years of professional experience, high reputation and is a recognized specialist of any field of law.
A member of Disciplinary Committee shall be elected for 2 year period.
The chairperson of Disciplinary Committee shall be elected by the committee among its judge-members.
